Research

The activities in Copenhagen are based on research. With a number of new study programmes starting up at Aalborg University Copenhagen/Copenhagen Institute of Technology areas of research are also expanding. The research is currently carried out by these departments:

Cooperation with the Danish Building Research Institute
On the 1st of January 2007 Aalborg University and the Danish Building Research Institute merged. The merge initiated a comprehensive center that focuses on the built environment. The new centre offers the best expertise in the country within research, education, consultancy, cooperation with companies with regards to building and physical planning. Aalborg University and the Danish Building Research Institute currently have 281 researchers and Ph.D.-students and this number is expected to grow.
